Facebook has now launched a massive upgrade to its English version: the home has + been changed with the “recent news” unique and intelligent indicating that we educate our most important news and less important, a new pane on the right called ticker updates and many other changes on the graphics and features.

Once the ticker was launched it started annoying some users, and a Google Chrome extension that allows you to disable and remove it from our home page is available.
The extension is called Facebook News Ticker Remover and it is free and available for download.
