In many ways this trick has been around for a long time: being able to export, download your list of friends on Facebook. Well, someone has created a beautiful extension of Google Chrome that does just that, exporting:
- Names
- Phone numbers
- Nicknames (if the user has changed its name on Facebook)
- Web Sites
- Addresses
- Birthdays
Obviously, some information (e.g. phone number or e-mail address) will be downloaded only if the user allows you to display its privacy settings.
Two methods of export, either as CSV file (contacts file recognized by any software / e-mail client), or as a contact email address (will put a folder on your Gmail contacts called “Imported from Facebook”).To export your contacts you will not have to click on “Export Friends” that will appear at the top right of Facebook after you have installed the extension.(See picture)
