As many of you have noticed Facebook is in the mood for change. Before the ‘ update pages are now shown as profiles, with the photo above, the possibility (for administrators) to comment on other linked pages as the “page” and so on. The choice of updating pages is not visible to everyone (if you are an administrator of pages, you can refresh the page here:http://www.facebook.com/pages/status/ ). Many have also noticed (some of you are also pointing out the event on our page , whom we thank) that is no longer possible to suggest this page to friends .
A few days we got another update: gone were the options “I like” and “comments” from notes . Basically facebook removed the ability to like and comment in notes for a couple of days. Here at English TricksFacebook we didn’t post anything because the “protests” were only Italians. English facebook didn’t care much.
The notes are important in Italy because lot of kids create them in order to produce (what they call) a “link”, that can be shared and became viral across Facebook.
February 18 2011, saw the returned the keys I like and comments . Maybe it was because of protests, or perhaps because it was an oversight, or a mistake during all these updates. Spread the good news. (If you do not see the options yet “like” and “comments” under the notes, please refresh the page by pressing Shift + F5 on your keyboard)
Ps: in Italy after they removed those functions in less than a few minutes pages and groups with hundreds of thousands of fans were created…just crazy.
