Recently Facebook made it easier to tag friends in status updates and / or comments, and you no longer need to insert the at sign @ before a name. Simply type the first name of the friend and your friends list will automatically appear.
Here’s an example:
Tag in comments! Just write the name and when the friends appear, just click on the environment and the tag will be placed on your comment.
But the news does not end there! Now you can remove your last name and leave only the first name! To tag a friend by first name all you have to do is delete the last name from the friend you just tagged, such as:
The tag will link the friend the same way. This new function is very nice and comfortable, finally we could call people by first name only!
