It is possible to save the conversations you have in Facebook chat through an extension called Facebook Chat History Manager. The extension is available for the browsers Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome.
Here are the steps:
- If you use Firefox, install the add-on Facebook Chat History Manager and restarted the browser. If you use Chrome to install the extension Facebook Chat History Manager Extension
- FIREFOX: Logon to Facebook and click here to create an account for your application. The username is your profile ID, and the password is the sae as your Facebook account. CHROME: click on an extension in the toolbar and create an account by following the options.
- FIREFOX: From this point the conversations on the chat will be recorded and stored. To view the log of the conversations you just log into Facebook and go to this page. CHROME: To view the conversations you’ll need to click the icon and enter your login and password used to create the account.
Conversations can also be read from offline (without internet connection) because they are stored on your computer. To enter, simply press Control + Alt + F on your keyboard and enter user (user ID) and password.
