New Way – Suggest to all friends with one click
Posted on 01. Sep, 2010 by TricksFacebook staff in script
Most Tricksfacebook visitors will have noticed that the method that we reported some months ago that allows you to invite all friends to subscribe to a page, group or application does not work anymore …
The javascript code:
javascript: fs.select_all ();
This method that required you to copy code into the address bar of the browser no longer works after a recent update of Facebook.
Here is a new method!
Use the Google Chrome and/or Mozilla Firefox browser, and install the extension Facebook Invite All (Chrome) or script Select ALL Facebook Friends(Firefox, the extension requires Greasemonkey)
From the moment when you click "Suggest friends" you will see a new link called "Toggle All." Click on it will select all your friends. (See picture)
Antivirus for Facebook
Posted on 03. Aug, 2010 by TricksFacebook staff in security
Thousands of links are shared on Facebook every second, of every day more and more may contain malware such as viruses or trojans.
Facebook has always managed to block early threats circulating on it’s web site but can’t always catch each potential threat before they catch unaware users.
So we share with you an application that Norton has seen fit to create which scans all the links posted by friends on Facebook in order to identify possible security threats. The application is called Norton Safe Web and all you need to do is add it and allow special permits.
The only flaw of this "antivirus Facebook" is that it’s impossible to scan automatically, we must start now and then goto the page http://apps.facebook.com/nortonsafeweb/ and then scan it manually. It’s best to start scanning before clicking on any suspicious links.
Watch out my friends! Threats come for your friends as well.

How to hide or restore friends in real-time feed
Posted on 31. Jul, 2010 by TricksFacebook staff in guides
Are you tired of seeing too much worthless content in your Facebook News feed? Want to customize your Facebook?
Your home page on Facebook is divided into two sections:
-
Most popular news: an algorithm calculates what to show in news feeds: posts that have received more feedback (comments and "like"), the posts of friends with whom we interact frequently and post the closest friends (with whom we have more friends common). These are the most popular news of the last 24 hours.
-
News in real time (most recent): all posts in real time. Also includes: friendships, responses to events, click on "I like" for groups and pages, tag photos and video.
Both these streams of content can be customized by hiding some friends or choosing friends from whom we want to see more content.
How to hide posts from a friend, a page or group
You can hide the contents of a friend (same thing for a page or a group) in two ways.
In the stream you can click to the right of your friend’s name and click "Hide"
How to customize your friends, and groups to display pages in the news feed
The second method to hide the contents of a friend (or restore) is to click at the bottom to "Edit Options".
This will open a box that lets you customize the news viewed on your home page:
